The action is concise, facilitating quick and consistent successive shots. As a single-action mechanism without an external hammer, the first shot requires manual toggling to chamber a BB and cock the hammer. Subsequent shots are automatically readied by the blowback action, with the toggle locking back when the magazine empties.

Accuracy: The KWC P-08 Luger tends to fire slightly high, about 3 inches above the target at 30 feet. With fixed sights, I compensated by aiming lower. The pistol shot accurately from left to right. At 30 feet, my 10-shot grouping was impressively tight, with most shots within a 1-inch area, and only three shots slightly widening the group to around 2.5 inches.

Build Quality: This nearly all-metal KWC P-08 Luger CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is solidly constructed, weighing approximately 1.84 pounds, closely mirroring the real Luger's weight of 1.92 pounds. The grips and gas tube are the only plastic components. Typical of KWC firearms, the pistol features a powder-coated finish that looks superb but may show wear on higher friction areas.

Realism: The KWC P-08 Luger is an impressively faithful replica of the original Luger P-08, mirroring its operational parts and field-stripping capability. The finish, though slightly darker than ideal, is the only aspect that slightly diverges from the classic blued look of the original.
